As we all look forward to Christmas and watching our families and particularly children open their presents we should bare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves. Especially those children who are desperately ill, disadvantaged or isolated from their families at this time of year.
So, this Christmas instead of giving gifts of wine, spirits and chocolates to our clients and suppliers we have decided to give £1000 worth of toys, gifts and other presents to children in the local area with the support of Candlelighters, a local children’s Cancer charity & The Welcome Centre, a local community and food bank charity who were introduced to us by Heart FM and The Huddersfield Foundation.
In addition to this, Absolute Warehouse Services staff are matching that figure by donating an additional £1000 for the charities to use as they see fit. We are proud to be able to do this and I think all our clients and suppliers will feel the same way.
Over the Christmas period we can all feel we have brought a glimmer of hope and happiness to the children less fortunate than ourselves.
