For many years now we have been a leading handler of deep sea containers working hand in hand with many Freight and Container Road Hauliers.
We cover the whole process from arranging receipt of the container from the nominated haulier or freight forwarder to processing the documentation making sure what is on the packing list agrees and tallies with the client’s requirement and ultimately the goods inward documentation.
The “booking in process” is always undertaken with the emphasis on elimination of any possible demurrage charges which may be incurred if the containers are held at the docks or shipping agents longer than has been agreed. This can be a very costly exercise if not dealt with promptly.
Once the container is received we carry out quality inspections to ensure the product has reached the warehouse in the quality and to a standard that is acceptable to our client’s instructions. Once accepted, any discrepancies between documentation and physical counts are dealt with prior to allowing the container to leave.
We provide the labour as and when required and we can supply pallets, wrapping material etc to decant the containers straight to pallets if manually required or simply unload via one of our many loading banks.
The stock then follows the various “goods in” procedures and quality checks prior to booking on to the “live” management system. From this point the goods are visible, “in stock” and accessible to our clients immediately.
